Video to Adoption Program

Mint for Mounts is dedicated to help rescue horses find permanent homes and that is why we are starting our new Video to Adoption program.  This program is designed to help other horse rescue organizations place their adoptable horses by providing to them the resources needed to make and post videos of the adoptable horses.  Mint for Mounts is looking for some corporate sponsors for this program. We want to keep this service at no cost for the rescues, but we need some help covering the production expenses!

We are in the process of making videos for the MSPCA at Nevins Farm, Forever Morgans, and the New England Thoroughbred Retirement Center.   If you are a rescue organization and would like videos of your adoptable horses, please email us at info@mintformounts.org to find out how we can help you get started.

MSPCA Nevins Farm

Khandi
is a 19 year old, 14.3 hand, chestnut Arab mare. She was loved and cared for by the same person for 19 years, but that person sadly passed away. Khandi is sweet, smart, energetic and fun. She would do great with flatwork and some trails. When I videotaped her, it was a cool breezy day and the maintenance crew was making a lot of noise with the tractor (as you will see on the video) and she did just kept going along!

Tego is a 16 year old thoroughbred mare currently in foster care. Does very well with flatwork and is a good lower level dressage prospect.  She is a beautiful mover with big strides.  She is very sweet and waiting for the right person to give her the loving home she deserves.

Ata is a 12 year old chestnut thoroughbred gelding. The staff at the MSPCA has been working on getting him relaxed and he is doing really well under saddle.  He is suitable for flat work only due to blindness in his left eye and an old injury in his left front leg.  He could excel as a  dressage prospect. He is really sweet and will blossom with his own person.

Also available is Bear, a 9 year old Arab gelding. He came to the MSPCA as a stallion with very little training. He has now been in training for several months, first longlining and he is now under saddle.  *******Update********   Bear has been adopted!

Our first video was of Monty at Nevins Farm and we are happy to report that he has been adopted!

Still available for adoption at Nevins Farm: Orion .  He is a beautiful Breeding Stock Paint gelding who knows and loves the Parelli games. Rides western in hackamore.

Our first video for Forever Morgans is of Layla. She is a three year old who was rescued from the New Holland auction. Her training has started and she lunges, know walk, trot, canter voice commands and is now taking a rider. Ready for you to finish her training!
   **** UPDATE**** Layla was adopted!

New England Thoroughbred Retirement Center

Our first video for NETRC is Alex's Hope.  He is a five year old, 17 hand bay Thoroughbred gelding. He has beautiful strides and a very calm temperament. He would be a very good dressage or eventing prospect.
**** UPDATE**** Alex's Hope was adopted!

Next is Storm in Meadow. He is a four year old, 15.3 hand bay Thoroughbred gelding. Short coupled, magnificent neck-set, excellent hunter prospect.
